Chapter 11

Ryo and Hong Ki walk into the house as Ryo threw the keys on to the coffee table.

“I guess everybody is out, I show you where the room you and me will be sharing” Ryo said as he helped Hong Ki carry a luggage. As they walk down the hallway, they heard a loud scream as they burst into the room.

Ryo ran to the bathroom finding Riyo on the ground screaming and crying. He ran next to her as she looked up at him.

“Riyo are you okay?” he asked bending down to where she was sitting.

Riyo didn’t reply but instead she hugs him suddenly crying. All he could do was pat her on her head.

“Everything will be alright, just let it out” Ryo whispered as he look at Hong Ki who was looking confused.

A few minutes later, Riyo stop and got up, “I’m sorry for that sudden burst. I don’t know what is going on” Riyo said as she washes her face.

“Its okay, you must be tired out and with the work you do, you have to let it out somehow” Ryo replied.

Riyo turns around finding her staring at a stranger,

“Who are you?”

“Oh…I’m Lee Hong Ki” Hong Ki said as he shook Riyo’s hand as she look at him curiously.

“Oh, he’s my roommate who will be living here with me” Ryo said.

“Eh?!? Does Kaiyo know? Does she even allow it? Wait does Chou know?” Riyo asked.

“Yes, yes and no” Ryo said with a big grin.

“She’s gonna flip out that you are living in here with us now” Riyo said with a smile.

“Haha I do hope so. It will be a totally blast to hear her scream in the morning” Ryo said, “Anyways, me and Hong Ki will be settling in our room, if you need anything just find us” Ryo said as he patted Riyo on the head and left.

“Nice to meet you again” Hong Ki said as he left the room.

Riyo walked over to her computer table, sitting down. She open one drawer and took out a key. She moves her hand over to the last bottom drawer of the computer table that was locked. She unlocks it and pulled it out. She took a deep breath and let it out as she took the large box inside placing it on the table. She opens the top and took a look inside, reaching inside she took out a little figurine.

She closed her eyes as an past memory flash in her head,

“Ta-dah! Is this the triangle doll you wanted?”

“Its not the one I’m looking for, but I like it”

“You know, you don’t have to keep it if you want.”

“I like it; I keep it with my other collections you got me.”

“You don’t have to worry; I’m going to find that triangel doll. You and me belong together” he said leaning over placing a kiss on her lips.

“Good luck on finding it”

“Oh I will find it.”

Riyo opens her eyes as she looks at the doll,

“But we were never meant to be together in the first place” she whispered placing the doll back in the box with the other dolls. She closed the top but instead of placing it back in the drawer she walk over to her bed and place it underneath.

Kaiyo return back to the hospital after dropping off Hyun Joong at Hideaki’s apartment. She walked into her younger brother’s room as she sat down at the chair next to his bed. He slowly open his eyes and look around and notice her present,

“Nee…chan?”

“Hey Ryosuke, you still remember me?”

“Off course…you’re my sister” Ryosuke answer slowly as Kaiyo’s eyes begin to tear up.

“I’m not a good sister though. I left you by yourself”

“I understand why you left me there in the first place, I’m not mad at you. You came and visit me, paid for my medical fees.”

“How did you know I went to visit you…I never appear in front of you.”

“Usually you would come to the church and sit in there for a while and later talk to the sister. I would hear you from distance and I see you hand the sister some money”

“You’re smarter than I thought you would be” Kaiyo said.

“I know you left me because I was a burden for you. You just wanted the best for me” Ryosuke said slowly.

“But that’s the past now, from now on, you will be living with me. I want to be there for you as a sister should be.” Kaiyo said with a smile as Ryosuke smile back at her. “After you get better, you will be living with me plus 4 other people.”

“That will be fun” Ryosuke said as Kaiyo patted his head.

“It will. Now get some rest.” Kaiyo said as Ryosuke nodded his head.

For the past hour or so she has been walking for a while and now the sun has set. The road begins to turn dark, she looked at her watch and it was already 8 and then she heard some noises.

“Gah I need to eat…maybe a hot bowl of ramen is good enough” Chou said to herself when she walk pass a restaurant. She stop and walk back and look inside, there she saw Sunny all dress up sitting down at the table while she noticed the man sitting at the table was Yesung.

“I stand here in the cold and they sit in a warm cozy place. How typical” Chou mumbled. Soon thunder was heard and rain pour down lightly on the street. “And look rain… how wonderful”

She looked back inside the restaurant and noticed Sunny looking at her giving her a smirk.

“That little bitch…” Chou mumble as she was about to walk into the restaurant but suddenly she stop. “Maybe I shouldn’t…” She then turn away and walk off in the rain but it suddenly stop as she sat down at ramen shack.

The old man handed her a hot cup of tea as she sat there and ate the noodle,

“Its pretty late for you to be hanging out here alone, shouldn’t you be on a date or something? The owner asked as he continues making ramen.

“I wish I had a date, if I did I’m not sitting here. Beside I’m still thinking if going after him is even the right idea” Chou said eating.

“Why you say that? You’re a very beautiful girl”

“I wish he did say that to me but instead stick to that ugly fiancée of his” Chou mumble.

“Tell me, does he really love this girl?”

“From the look of it…not really” Chou replied.

“He’s not wearing a ring yet, so officially you still have a fair game” the old man said as Chou smiled,

“You’re so right, elders are really wise” Chou said as the man just smile at her as she ate her noodles.

When she was done she looked at her watch and decided to hang around town for a while, to clear her head. She got onto a train and sat down by the window and as the train left the station she stare out at the dark night sky as she closes her eyes.

In the morning…

Chou wonders back home as she walk into the house, she could smell Kaiyo’s famous pancakes. “I better go wash up and get ready for work…”

As she walks up the stairs toward the bathroom, without paying attention to the sign that says “occupied,” she opens it without paying attention that there was somebody already in there. She threw some cold water on her face as she stare into the mirror. Then she heard a strange voice behind her singing,

sa rang hae i mar it ji ma”

She slowly turn toward the shower and walked back toward the sink.

The singing stop, “Awww man I forgot the soap again…” the figure sticks his head out, holding onto the shower curtain and yelled, “RYO!!! CAN YOU GET ME MY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER IN MY BAG!!!”

Hong Ki slowly turns his head toward the sink as he stare at the figure in front of him.

“WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” they both screamed loudly as Chou cover her eyes while Hong Ki pulled back the shower curtain.

Both continue to scream, like death was after them

A few minutes later everybody was sitting at the dining table,

“Did you know I got 3 complaints from people around here because you two scream bloody hell” Kaiyo

“How in the world would I know somebody was in there?!” Chou yelled.

“Well there was an occupied sign out the door” Hong Ki covers his chest feeling violated.

“How in the freaking world would I know there are two males in this house now?!?” Chou asked slamming her hand on the table.

“One I left you a message on your voice mail since yesterday, two you were gone last night ALL night and three don’t you dare slam your hand onto my precious table” Kaiyo said as Chou sat back down.

“Chou it’s your fault for not checking your voicemail andddd not reading before entering a closed bathroom door” Riyo said with her head on the table.

“Okay than can somebody tell me WHY WE ARE LIVING WITH 2 MALES??!?” Chou asked pointing at Ryo and then Hong Ki.

“Ryo’s place is fixing up so he moved in here for a while and Hong Ki has no place to live so I offer him a place here. You do remember Hong Ki right?” Kaiyo asked as Chou stares at the blonde boy who stares back at her.

“I remember him! He pulled my pony tail once because he thought it was a real ponytail!” Chou said as Ryo sat there and laughs. “What?”

“Man I swear thinking about that now just brings back that laughter” Ryo said wiping the tears at the corner of his eyes as he laugh.

“Ryo told me that your hair was really from a pony, so if I yank it, you will magically become a magical horse and fly away” Hong Ki said as Ryo laugh even harder rolling onto the floor as Chou face turns red.

“You were the one?!” Chou yelled as she jumps onto Ryo and begins choking him. Kaiyo and Riyo pry Chou off from Ryo before a real murder case happen.

“Gah why do I have to live with him??” Chou asked with a puppy face.

“Just endure it, beside, its not 2 male living here but actually 3” Kaiyo said as Chou eyes widen.

“What? 2 isn’t enough now three??? Who is it?!?”

“Nobody you know” Kaiyo said slowly.

“Well I better not know him or else he will die” Chou said as she sat back down on the table and grab pancakes putting it on her plates stacking it high. She then dump syrup on top and begin eating as they stare at her gobble down at least 4 pancakes within 1 minute.

A few minutes later she storm upstairs and 10 minutes later she came back down in the new outfit she brought along with her new purse.

“So who’s taking me to work?” Chou asked as Ryo walk back down dress in his suit.

“Who else pancake hogger” Ryo said as he packs his suitcase.

“I’m not a pancake hogger just that you’re to slow at grabbing it” Chou said defending herself.

“Did you see what you were doing? Just stuffing your mouth with pancakes and stabbing people with forks if they get near it” Ryo said moving away from her.

“I’m not in the mood to joke with you” Chou said leaving the house as Ryo followed.

“That was something” Riyo said as she helped clean up the table, “So Hong Ki what are you going to do today?”

“Well look for a job for starter”

“Job… why not work in Kaiyo’s café? She’s said a while ago she was thinking of hiring a new person to work” Riyo said as Kaiyo appeared dress up. “And where are you going?” Riyo asked with a smile.

“I’m not going on a date, just to handle some business.”

“What about the café?”

“I’m going to open it later in the afternoon. Why do you care?” Kaiyo asked tying up her hair in a ponytail.

“Oh…I was telling Hong Ki you were hiring so he might try out” Riyo said pointing to Hong Ki who was filling out an application he found a while ago on the coffee table.

“Since I don’t have time to interview anybody, Hong Ki you’re hired on the spot. So why don’t you come along and I explain to you the rules and stuff you need to know” Kaiyo said as Hong Ki grab his backpack and ran out the door before Kaiyo can say another word.

“What am I going to do today then?” Riyo asked.

“Stay home and clean” Kaiyo said as Riyo look at her.

“You already clean the house yesterday and you want me to clean it again today?” Riyo asked curiously.

“Yeah a lot of dust comes out during the night time” Kaiyo said hiding something.

“Are you hiding something?”

“Hiding? Do I look like I’m hiding something?” Kaiyo asked as Riyo look at her and shook her head. “Exactly, so just stay home and clean up. You’re room has a lot of clothes you don’t wear anymore, donate them” Kaiyo said as she grab the keys and stop halfway at the door. “Don’t go out today. The calendar said today is a bad day for you to go out. If you do go out, go with somebody but don’t go by yourself” Kaiyo said in a stern tone and left the house.

“When did she believe that crap?” Riyo asked herself as she went upstairs and begin cleaning her room.

Kaiyo arrive at the hospital with Hong Ki behind her, she knocked on a door and walked in where Hideaki was lying on the bed pushing the remote control.

“Hey, did you by any chance bring me any food?” Hideaki asked as Kaiyo walked in as Hong Ki walk in behind her.

“Here, I wanted to bring some pancake but Chou apparently ate half and we got more people in the house so the supply run out fast” Kaiyo said handing him a basket.

“And this fellow is?”

“Hi I’m Lee Hong Ki” Hong Ki introduce himself bowing to Hideaki as Hideaki look at Kaiyo

“Hong Ki…Hong Ki…that name sound so familiar where have I heard it before?” Hideaki asked.

“The orphanage.” Kaiyo said.

“Oh yeah…he was that tiny kid that got picked on by everybody.” Hideaki said as Hong Ki then remember.

“You’re that aniki that helped me when I was a little boy” Hong Ki said remembering.

“He was really skinny and tiny and now he’s this big, we totally grew old” Hideaki said with a smile as Hong Ki rubs his neck.

“Ah I never got to thank you properly for helping me” Hong Ki said.

“Its okay, seeing you here means whatever I taught you came in handle I hope”

“Yep it did, I never got to know your name though”

“Hideaki”

“So…you two seem really close… are you two somehow…” Hong Ki asked slowly looking at them,

“Nothing is going on between us, just close, close friends” Kaiyo said immediately as she stood up, “I got to go visit somebody else Hong Ki say here and chat with Hideaki”
Kaiyo then left quickly as Hong Ki stood there confused and look at Hideaki who just smile at him.

Kaiyo then knock on the door and walk in finding her younger brother watching tv,

“Neechan, why are you here early?” Ryosuke asked.

“Oh I went to visit a friend and came by to check up on how you’re doing” Kaiyo replied as she helped him sit up.

“I’m fine, the doctor said I can go home this week” Ryosuke said happily.

“I know I already talk with the sister and did all the paperwork. I promise the day you get release, I’m here to take you home. To our home” Kaiyo said with a smile as Ryosuke smile along.

Ryo stopped the car as he noticed Chou unhappy face,

“Yah we’re here”

“I see that we’re here already.” Chou said.

“Then why aren’t you out the car?”

“I am thinking” Chou said through her teeth.

“Are you still mad at that incident when we are young?” Ryo asked.

“No something else” Chou said in an angry tone.

“Pancakes?”

“No”

“Oh…Yesung…what did he do to you know?” Ryo asked as he noticed Yesung and Sunny getting out the limousine.

“Nothing” she muttered as Ryo poke her on the cheek,

“Yah I know you, you’re not the easy person to let thing go. So really what happen?” Ryo asked as Chou glare at him.

“I’m going to get my revenge” Chou said as she got out the car.

“What? I don’t get it” Ryo said confused.

“Can you do me a favor and dig up all information on Sunny for me. Meet me at Kaiyo’s place for lunch” Chou said quickly as she left.

“I swear I probably made the wrong decision to move in with them” Ryo mumbled driving off.

Jin sat at this desk for a while and then stood up walking out the door. He then walks into the data record office as he sat down and begins searching something on the computer. He got up after finding the file number and search through rows of files after pulling everything he sat down and read through them.

About 30 minutes later he looks away and slam the file shut. He looked at his watch and pulled out his phone,

“Hello?”

“Hey Keiichiro, its Jin. I’m probably gonna be in late today. I have to run some errands so can you handle things in the office?”

“Sure, what time are you coming in?” Keiichiro asked.

“Probably after lunch” Jin said

“Okay, see you then” Keiichiro said as they hang up the phone.

He then grabs the files and ran out the door toward the elevator. He got into his car and speed off toward a different location. When he parks his car, he got out and walk into the building.

A police officer who was sitting behind the desk look at him,

“How may I help you?”

“I’m here to see this person” Jin said opening a file showing the police officer the picture in the file.

“Who are you?” the police officer asked as Jin pulled out his id badge,

“I’m Inspector Akanishi Jin from the crime department; I need to speak to this person because he may have some clues on a case I’m working on”

“You do know this person is consider highly consider dangerous to come in contact with”

“I don’t care, get him into room where I can speak with him” Jin said as the police officer nods his head.

“Okay I warn you already” the police officer walk toward the phone and make some calls later he showed Jin the way into an interview room. Jin sat down looking outside the window until he heard some chains dragging on the floor. He look over to his right where a police officer open the bar doors and a person wearing all white walked in. The figure looked pale as a ghost as Jin stares at him as the guy stare back at him.

“Why am I here?” he asked.

“You don’t remember me?” Jin asked.

“Who can forget those disgusting eyes…” the figure said with a smirk as Jin stare at him, Long time now see… Jin” the figure said with a smirk.

“Yeah long time no see, Shirota Yu” Jin said through his teeth as they stare at each other.

“It seems like it was yesterday you left that orphanage. Now look at you, all grown up and handsome. I bet a lot of girls were killed by your looks” Shirota said with a smirk as Jin glare at him. “So what brings you here today?”

“I want to know information about one person”

“And who may that be?”

“Rika. In the file, it said you were with her. Where is she?” Jin asked as Shirota look at him and his looks turn cold,

“Why do you want to know?”

“Because I want to know damnit!” Jin yelled.

“Fine I tell you where she is, but come a bit closer” Shirota said as Jin got closer to him as Shirota got near Jin’s ear,

“She’s dead…”
